EDIT: I did a complete overhaul on the background so that it matches better with some other stuff
EDIT V.2: I added a bit more from my story.


All of a sudden a tiny flame leapt in Zim. Wik had been taken from him and she would not have died in vain. “Dib.” Zim growled, letting his hatred overflow within the single word. This was all his fault. He had led the invasion on Irk, destroyed the Empire, killed Wik. Zim stood up slowly, resolution giving strength to his tired body. Wik would be avenged.
“You’ll pay for this, Dib!” Zim vowed, wiping the tears from his face and beginning to walk. He didn’t know which way he was going, but he knew he would find the Dib. Find him and make him suffer. This one desire now filled his entire mind and he was blind to everything around him, his only thought was Dib.

Ok, I suppose I'd better explain this...

So I'm a-writin my own little IZ fanfic (honestly, who hasn't?) and I was playing around with the whole Invader Dib concept, you know, the idea for an hour long finale episode where Dib goes to Irk and pretty much does what Zim was trying to do to Earth while the Irkens are at war with the Meekrob. Anyway, like I said I'm messing with that and this is just come concept art I felt like doing. Wik (my Irken OC that I added into my story) just died in the explosion from the Massive (her PAK eventually reactivates her) and Zim has had it and is going to go have a final little show down thing with Dib.

I'm very pleased with how this turned out. Except for the background. There's hardly any references for Irk and it just looks weird anyway so I don't want to hear about it. I like the rest though.

Please don't hate on this. I know it's weird. :p

The tears. But I remember he came up with some water proof skin thing in one of the episodes :) even if it would burn him the tears give him a good expression :D

I don't think his own tears would burn him. Jhonen mentioned that its the pollution in Earth's water that causes him to burn so I wouldn't expect his own bodily fluids to harm him since he isn't polluted or he's used to the chemicals from his own planet that would likely reside with him whether he wants them or not.
