I have been receiving a good amount of comments lately like "It's Balto!" or "Reminds me of Balto style!" Well I am beginning to find those comments offensive.

Balto is one of my most favorite movies and has been since I was a kid (Balto taught me how to howl), but although I am perfectly capable of drawing in Balto style I do not. Balto has influenced the design of my main fursona (ex: markings, hair tuft, etc.) but I do not draw in Balto style! I DON'T!!! It is my style, which I personally like to think of it as a mix of Balto and Lion King with my own me-ness thrown in.

So please, take a nice long look at Balto and my characters. They are similar but they are not the same!

And ignore my terrible handwriting.

Balto style is awesome, but I can clearly tell that your is not the same. When you say it's a smoosh of Balto and TLK I totally get it. Plus even when anyone purposely tried to imitate a style it looks like 'them' anyway.

You mean they kept protesting that your style was not original? Forgive me to go on but, that's not right. After all, you're too good of an artist to be argued about. The only thing I see similar is the wolf anatomy. The differences I see are Ellie's muzzle isn't as fluffy as Balto's, Ellie's eyes are more sleek, and your ear style is round-tipped instead of the sharp ends. Don't listen to haters, they have nothing better to do than make great artists feel horrible. BTW, I hope your hand feels better.
